Ever since Jim Harbaugh took over at Stanford, he has dramatically improved his team through strong recruiting efforts. Since taking over in 2007, Stanford’s recruiting classes have been ranked 50th, 20th, 26th, and currently 8th in the nation. These rankings can be tied directly into Stanford’s on the field efforts, as they’ve steadily improved each year, winning 4, 5, 8, and already 7 games this season.

Nebraska has been an exciting team to watch this year, and with one loss to Texas has themselves ranked as the number 14 team in the country. Redshirt freshman sensation quarterback Taylor Martinez has already taken a firm grasp of Shawn Watson’s offense.
Their success this year has seemingly translated onto the recruiting trail as well. Rivals has the Huskers ranked as the number 12 class overall, just behind Ole Miss and Clemson. Nebraska already has one more four star recruit (9) than they did in their 2010 class, and recently added an electrifying athlete to the Martinez lead offense.
