Wide Receiver Hakeem Flowers Has Visits in Mind

2011 wide receiver Hakeem Flowers had a scare in this year’s post season. A jarring hit knocked him unconscious, and Flowers was taken off the field in an ambulance for precautionary measures. Unfortunately his team lost the game, but Flowers says he’s 100% now, and as bad as it seemed he suffered only a minor concussion. I say only because it could have been much worse. Defensive End Aaron Lynch Commits to Florida State

As predicted by us, and probably every one else that follows recruiting, DE Aaron Lynch has committed to Florida State. Lynch is a huge pick up for the Seminoles, and should be able to give immediate depth to their defensive line. Aaron recently decided to decommit from Notre Dame, and to pledge his commitment to a team closer to home. Bad news all around for Irish fans, and even more bad news with Lynch taking his friend and former Notre Dame commit, OL Jordan Prestwood, with him to Florida State. 2012 Athlete DJ Foster Hearing from Big Time Schools

Saguaro High School in Scottsdale, Arizona just came off a 56-28 first round playoff victory against Moon Valley. 2012 do it all athlete, DJ Foster accounted for five of Saguaro’s touchdowns, three of which came in the third quarter. This performance was no fluke by Foster as his team had met Moon Valley earlier in the year, and you guessed it, DJ racked up five touchdowns in a 63-7 win during the regular season. Athlete Ryan Byrd Committed to Memphis

North Carolina picks up talented DB

Defensive Back Dallas Crawford Picks Michigan

South Fort Myers has a duo of talented 2011 prospects in DB Dallas Crawford and WR Sammy Watkins. Crawford came off the board today, as he made his decision for the Wolverines. Fort Myers Coach Redhead said of Crawford’s commitment:

Richardson surprises all, picks the Trojans

Sheldon Richardson, a mammoth defensive tackle prospect originally signed with Missouri in the 2009 class. He was the 4th ranked player in the nation, a five-star recruit and the #1 defensive tackle, a huge pickup for the Tigers. But Richardson didn’t make the grade and was forced to enroll at the the College of the Sequoias.

After a successful season there in which Richardson posted 65 tackles, 17 tackles for loss and 3 sacks, many assumed he would be headed to his original destination, Missouri. Read the rest of this entry →

Wide Receiver DeAnthony Arnett Commits to Tennessee

The recruitment of the number four wide receiver in the country, DeAnthony Arnett (6’0″, 170 lbs), took a humorous turn on the eve of his recruitment. Arnett decided to have a little fun with the people paying attention to his recruitment, and posted these videos which show him “committing” to each school in his top five. 2012 Defensive Tackle Tommy Schutt Gets a New Offer

Glenbard West has produced their fair share of top prospects in the past few years, and they’ll continue that trend with 2012 defensive tackle Tommy Schutt, who just received his ninth offer. The 6-foot-3, 300-pound lineman found out today that Notre Dame has verbally offered him.
