2:36 pm in Recruiting by Jeff Contizano

Many recruiting analysts believe a dream season, whether it is a BCS victory, a conference championship, or even national title, does not fully effect a recruiting class until the following year. Defensive Back Stefan McClure Ready to Announce

11:04 pm in Recruiting by Tom VanHaaren

Stefan McClure, Cal, UCLA, Defensive Back, RecruitCalifornia DB Stefan McClure (5’11″, 170 lbs) has now taken all five of his official visits, with Michigan being the most recent. McClure decided that he had seen enough and was ready to make his decision. In a text, he said that he will announce on Thursday the 27th at 8AM at Vista High School.

The finalists for his services are UCLA, Cal, Oregon State, and Boise State. There’s a general consensus that Stefan is most likely down to UCLA and Cal, as I expect distance from home to be a factor which is most likely why Michigan was cut from the equation.

Michigan Has a Big Weekend

Michigan’s new head man Brady Hoke finally started to fill out his coaching staff, and hit a home run when Baltimore Ravens’ defensive coordinator, and former Michigan assistant, Greg Mattison decided to join Hoke’s staff. The new coaches held their first recruiting visitor weekend the past few days and hit the ground running. Read the rest of this entry →
